A delegation from the United States Embassy in Laos visited AEK Udon International Hospital

On January 21, 2026, a delegation from the United States Embassy in Laos visited AEK Udon International Hospital. The visit was led by Dr. Marjorie Hottenstein, the Medical Director of the U.S. Embassy in Vientiane, and included Ms. Sengdeuan Hang, a nurse from the Embassy. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Warunee Chatpaitoon, Vice President, and Dr. Arunee Chatpaitoon, Vice President and Hospital Director of AEK Udon International Hospital, along with their medical team.

During the visit, the delegation explored the hospital's capabilities in patient care and its readiness for international referrals. They also received detailed information from the medical and multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to assess the medical equipment and technology that meet international standards at AEK Udon International Hospital.
